We believe that peace of mind extends to your digital sovereignty. A true sanctuary should not monitor you. Therefore, Galene is built as a closed, self-sustaining system that operates entirely on your own hardware.
Galene does not collect personal data.
What you do inside the app is known only to you.
Galene is 100% offline by design. There are no external servers, no cloud databases, and no hidden background network requests. Because the app does not communicate with the outside world, your usage data cannot be harvested, leaked, or sold to third parties.
Any settings you adjust inside the app (such as your chosen sound or the duration of your sleep timer) are saved strictly to the local storage of your device. This data never leaves your phone, and you retain absolute control over it. If you delete the app, the data is destroyed.
There are no third-party advertisements, tracking scripts, or data brokers embedded in Galene. Your attention is yours alone.
Because Galene is universally offline and collects absolutely zero information, it is inherently safe and compliant with all global children’s privacy laws (including COPPA and GDPR-K) by default.
Legal requirements may shift over time, and this document will update to reflect them. Yet, Galene’s foundation remains still. Designed with the ethos of true decentralization, the app will always operate as a closed, self-sovereign system governed by you. Your privacy is yours.
